Well, I do think we're off to a good start -- the first official update is on time and online. We're thinking about rescheduling our updates to another day, as our respective schedules can wreak havoc (so to speak) with our free time, especially for this comic. While we do have the time to continually update Girls on the Road, we do so late into the night. Perhaps we can find a day that'll let us mess with the strips and rants at our leisure instead of at 3 in the morning.

In other news, I'm currently seriously pondering a PlayStation 2. Halcy is already familiar with this pleasure, but I've only observed it from afar until now. So I'm hoarding my cash until Christmas, where it shall be spent in one fell swoop of electronic entertainment. I'm not quite sure if the prices will drop or not, as everybody's iffy about it. Price drop or not, though, I don't think I'll be able to stave off Grand Theft Auto 3, Gran Turismo 3 and Metal Gear Solid 2 any longer.

I've also inherited the official lackey position in my local anime club; being always there at our weekly presentations, the club organizer (Great Organizer Onizuka) is too busy with schoolwork to reliably remain to change the tapes in the VCR, so that task has fallen to me. ^_^ There's nothing quite like watching the latest in anime fansubs on a ludicrously large screen in a projection hall.

I think I'll emulate Halcy and go with a short rant. I'm so tired it's not even funny, but the show must go on! Come back next week for the next installment!

(Also, be sure to check out It's Walky!, webcomic by my good friend David Willis. I've known this guy since we were making amateur video games, and he's got enough creativity in that noggin of his to spin some pretty amazing tales. The fact that I get cameo appearances in his strip as DarkPower451 is purely coincidental. ^_^;

Strip three has made it online! Despite post-weekend exhaustion and a house meeting, all my shite got done. Also, rather than bike the mile to where I work so I can use the scanner there after hours, I got a ride from a freind. At 1am, this is much warmer and safer, and I got company. Much love to my housemate JP, who has a car whilst I do not, and where I work, that has a scanner whilst I do not.

I think I'm buying myself a lexmark for Xmas.

As to the site, sometime in the next week, we're putting up the Cast page so you can get to know the characters better. If we're extra-ambitious, maybe we'll start on our links..I know there's alot of websites I could reccomend, mostly comic-related.

If you don't know the face of she above this rant, all I have to say is that you must go find yourself NeiA_7! It's some of the funniest damn social comedy anime I've seen. If you like sitcoms and anime, it's worth taking a look.

...wow, I really thought I'd have more to say. I guess I'm just that tired. The only other thing I can think of is that Thanksgiving is this Thursday and I get to have two of them on the same day, one after the other. That's going to be confusing. Damn I hope I'll be hungry.

Ah well, happy turkey day to everyone who likes that sort of thing! I'm going to fall over and sleep now!

=-_-= zz
